About Us
The concept for Cream La Shea was conceived in 2012 when I, Keira Richardson took a health course in college. The professor gave an assignment to the class; do a research project on “What we put in our bodies” or “What we put on our bodies”. I chose to research the various foods we put in our bodies. After a short time of researching, I came to the conclusion that I needed to change my diet.
With learning so much about the various chemicals in our food, I began to wonder what chemicals were in my everyday products. I began to search around my house to read the list of ingredients. Not knowing some ingredients, I started researching to find out what they were, and how they affected the human body. Disappointed with my findings, I came to the conclusion that I would not use products on the market. However, I would begin producing my own.
Cream La Shea was founded on the belief that haircare and skincare products should actually repair instead of dry out cells and cause damage.
